I second foalz's comment - I feel so immersed in the story and in their characters already, even without knowing all the details of their backstories. There's something so visceral about your writing, too, like the physical descriptions are just so intense and make my skin crawl a little bit, in a good/compelling way. Ugh poor Niall. I feel for that kid.
